Mercy Health expands partnership with FC Cincinnati for new Mercy Health Training Center

For those of you who have been following the whirlwind of a journey that has been Cincinnati soccer, you’ll remember that late last year Mercy Health and FC Cincinnati announced the beginnings of a partnership rooted in our shared commitment to positively impact the communities we serve.

Our common threads — quite literally — go beyond that commitment and vision for healthier and happier communities, as we revealed our jersey sponsorship, beginning in 2019. This partnership was taken to the next level when FC Cincinnati was announced as the 26th, and newest, franchise of Major League Soccer.

It is with great excitement that we announce that Mercy Health will now also be the naming partner for the club’s Milford, Ohio, training complex, the Mercy Health Training Center, which formally broke ground today.

As the largest health care provider in the state of Ohio, Mercy Health partners with both professional and everyday athletes across the tri-state, including Milford High School’s athletic teams right down the street from the new Center.

The Mercy Health Training Center will be home to FC Cincinnati Academy teams and youth development efforts and provide a base for grassroots soccer initiatives. The collaboration between FC Cincinnati and Mercy Health at the Mercy Health Training Center allows us to propel our mutual commitment to giving back, as the Center is expected to generate $6.8 million in economic impact to the area.

We’re looking forward to a strong 2019 and beyond with our friends and partners at FC Cincinnati and are thrilled to take our partnership even further with the groundbreaking of the Mercy Health Training Center. We can’t wait to establish even deeper roots in Milford, and the surrounding communities, side-by-side with our team, our city and our friends.
