Keeping mental health top of mind during COVID-19 is critical in order to cope in a healthy way with all of the current uncertainty and change. To help during this challenging time, two of our behavioral health experts have teamed up for a video series providing guidance to you and your family.
Dr. Carson Felkel, system medical director, behavioral health, and Dr. Aimee Drescher, a clinical psychologist in the Toledo market, are well into their discussion on mental health and have been focusing on this year’s back-to-school season. So far, they have provided tips on implementing self-care habits and creating an environment of resiliency for your kids at home.
This week, in the third video, Dr. Felkel and Dr. Drescher continue with their back-to-school, COVID-19 and mental health focus. They have a transparent conversation about making their own difficult decisions about in-person schooling and e-learning. They also give advice on how to have age-appropriate conversation with your kids about the importance of following the CDC’s guidelines right now.
