Each year, the U.S. News & World Report releases their ratings for hospitals across the country. These ratings help educate consumers about who is best in the business when it comes to health care. Thanks to these ratings, people are able to learn more and make the best health care decisions for themselves and their families.
We are excited to share that eight Mercy Health hospitals have been recognized as “high performing hospitals” for 2020-21 by U.S. News & World Report.
The high performing rating is given for common adult procedures and conditions when the care provided by a hospital is significantly better than the national average. This is measured with many factors, including patient outcomes. Fewer than a third of all hospitals evaluated this year received any high-performing rating.
