“It’s an opportunity for us to come together and celebrate the collaboration among organizations, reflect upon the work we’ve accomplished to better our community right here at home, and to recognize the lives we’ve been able to directly impact,” said Jon Labbe, President of Mercy Health Foundation – Cincinnati, of the recent Angels Among Us event, hosted by the Mercy Health Foundation. The biennial event serves as the capstone celebration of the health system and its foundation living out its mission and commitment to the Greater Cincinnati area.

The Angels Among Us gala honors heroes in our community who go above and beyond to support meaningful clinical and community care programs and well as initiatives that the organization is committed to both state and system wide, such as combatting the opioid epidemic.

These programs enable Mercy Health to enter into solidarity with the community at large, as well as our patients, by walking alongside them, helping them overcome crisis, and placing them on a path that leads to health and wholeness.

The Mercy Health Foundation is comprised of more than 4,000 donors in Cincinnati, and over the past three years, more than $20 million dollars has been invested in Foundation initiatives to improve health care access for all, launch innovation programs, and activate response to critical needs within the community. These funds empower and equip the Mercy Health network to extend its healing ministry with compassion and innovation with a direct impact on making Cincinnati a better place to live, work, and play.
