🎅 Look who's coming to town! This holiday season, Mercy Health – Life Flight Network participated in the annual toy drive hosted by the local ABC news affiliate. In addition to donating over 100 toys that will be given to children in the Toledo community, one of the Life Flight helicopters flew in the one and only Santa Claus to the Hope for the Holiday Drive-Thru Bash! We're glad we could give Santa's reindeer a break.

Students from West Clermont, CNE, Batavia, Goshen, and Williamsburg participated in another session of Medical Explorers, this time learning about Sports Medicine and what it takes to care for professional athletes. Juniors and Seniors toured the new Mercy Health Training Center, where our friends at @FCCincinnati train. Head FC Cincinnati Athletic Trainer, Aaron Powell, provided a behind the scenes look into the facilities, including the weight room, athletic training room, and locker rooms, as well as the players’ lounge and cafeteria.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Toledo! Employees and visitors gathered recently for the annual Mercy Health - St. Charles Tree Lighting Ceremony. The morning festivities included a blessing from Craig Albers, Hospital President, Sister Dorothy Thum, Vice President of Mission Services, and Deacon Dan Waters, Manager of Mission Services. The St. Charles YMCA preschool children sang Christmas carols and a there was a special visit from Santa, who brought presents and cookies.

Looking for a simple, healthy snack idea perfect for lunch or the classroom holiday party? Check out these adorable string-cheese snowmen! All you need is:
⛄ One pack of string cheese
⛄ Sharpies: orange and black
⛄ A spool of ribbon (for the scarves)
⛄ 12x12 piece of black card stock (for the top hat)
Cut the top hat and secure on the string cheese with tape or a drop of glue. Using the sharpies, draw eyes, a nose, mouth and buttons. Then, tie a piece of ribbon around for a scarf! Quick, easy, and super cute!
